Rode it last weekend, brilliant little trail. Berms run together beautifully, should have called it the Cresta Run..! Rode it twice and didn't have to touch the brakes the whole way down, ride the berms high and hard and they'll look after you. Top work fellas, keep it up.

Hi Pete,

Since we built the rock entry feature in 2005 riders have frequently shortcutted around it (hence the fence and branches). By mellowing the feature just a little we're aiming to encourage more riders to stick to the intended (rock) ride line - hopefully less erosion to the sides of the the trail and less time spent blocking off the shortcutting.

It remains very challenging to ride/clean and is definately still a black grade feature - the changes to how it rides are very subtle.

Well done Forestry Commision

Forestry Commision have done a fantastic job at clearing everything.Was there on Monday fallen trees every where, nearly all cleared. Really well done very impressed, cant wait till Friday it will be even better.

Just getting confirmation of what's open and not. Buzzards Nest and Red Squirrel car park have reopened this morning (7th April). The Green and Freeride trails are now open as is the skills area. Sections of the Blue and Red are open but awaiting confirmation of what they are. Main site will update at 1.30pm and 5pm today and we are posting updates on Twitter as we get info. You can also call the MTB ranger on 07834 435380 but they are all helping shift trees just now so you might have to wait to have a chat.

Just to let you know the Laggan Wolftrax trails are all open with minimal snow. For once this winter we appear to have escaped the worst of the most recant arctic blast. More info on the BaseCamp MTB website.
